Really beautiful idea. But I guess you should try to work on blending the images more into each other. Because for example the moon looks quite cut in. You could try to change the color of the moon a bit so that it fits more into the background. :)

Thanks for the comment. I might re-do parts and see how I go. :)

Not bad for your early attempts at a p-m piece. I agree that you should take care with the individual layers and making sure they all fit together and blend into one another. But apart from that, this is good - the colours and shadowed tones work really well especially. :)

Thanks. :) I admit I don't really know what I'm doing...lol... just fiddling around until it looks okay. I'm not really sure how to get the moon to blend better? I guess I'm just missing some techniques. =p

I was happy enough with the tree stump though and fiddled forever with the lighting and shadowing on the fairy... still not sure. She still looks a bit copied and pasted in to me.

I agree with the comments on blending everything into one picture. The background you have is quite faded and there are clouds in it as well; yet the moonis crispy sharp and in front of the clouds. That might be done on purpose, but I would recommend practicing with placing it behind the clouds. Playing around with opacity could make some significant changes here. As for the fairy: the colours and - worse- the shadows don't match with the rest of the piece. There are some good ways to change this (darkening, contrast, burn tool), but it can be tricky at times.

I like the butterflies, even though they are of a completely different quality. It works, don't touch it anymore ;)

Just one more thing: what's with the hot-air balloon? I also noticed it in your other manip. Trademark?

Oh, thanks so much for the comment!

Fair point about the moon, I'll try blending it in with the clouds. Though, I thought the problem was more with the horizon line? I really tried with the fairy, so many different things. I tried darkening her but it ended up just fading into the pic and not really working. I don't know, I'll have another play.

I just like hot-air balloons. They look cool and something to put in the sky. lol. :)
